Interesting Fanmade Retro Opening Credits for X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

What if X-MEN: FIRST CLASS had a (mostly) era-appropriate opening credits sequence?

How annoying am I that I watched this intriguing retro credits sequence for X-Men: First Class and immediately started looking at anachronisms? Planet of the Apes and The Munsters were both post-the film’s Cuban Missile Crisis setting. Martin Luther King’s appearance, giving his “I Have a Dream” speech is era-appropriate, but I suspect the longhairs with the anti-war signs are from later in the 60s.

Yeah yeah, it’s nitpicking. I’m not complaining about it - I’m interested in representations of historic periods, and the 60s are one  of the most incredibly cultural diverse decades in modern history. Nobody looked the same in 1969 as they did in 1960.

Anyway, enough of my bullshit. Enjoy the video.
