Holy crap, this looks amazing. The Drafthouse is kicking off a drive-in movie series with four road-huggin' flicks screened at Spiderwood Studios, all catered by motherloving Franklin Barbecue. I'm pretty much devastated that I can't attend the Billie Jean screening - Barry Tubb will be there! - but I'll have to make it down for one of the later shows. I've actually never seen a movie at a drive-in, and it's long been a dream of mine. Also brisket!

Alamo Drafthouse is excited to announce our new Rolling Roadshow series ROAD RAGE DRIVE-IN 2012! This series will feature four awesome, road-themed movies, which will all be screened at Spiderwood Studios, located at 140 Utley Road in Utley, TX in classic drive-in style! Every Saturday from November 10 through December 1 we will open the doors to that night's screening at 4pm and the film will start around 6pm.
There are a few things we're doing in order for you to fill in those two hours. The Alamo will be providing beverages for purchase and none other than Franklin Barbecue will be on hand to serve out some brisket. Be sure to come early, though because this succulent meat will be a limited amount and we all know how fast their barbecue disappears. In case you can't make it out this early don't worry, there is a way to make sure you get in on some of Texas’s best BBQ.
There are two ticket options. The first is an $18 ticket that gets you into the screening and guarantees you a Franklin’s Tipsy Texan Barbecue Sandwich, a mouthwatering combination of brisket, sausage and coleslaw. The other ticket option is $10 and will grant you entrance into the screening, but will not guarantee you food.
