The internet is the most incredible thing we, as humans, have yet done. It brings us together, it gives us information, it makes us freer and, in theory, smarter. It is changing the way we interact, the way we see each other and the way we assert ourselves into the world. It is something that could lead to the next level of human evolution, if we're being slightly hyperbolic.
Also, it gives Reddit a chance to hijack a website where a guy takes suggestions for his baby's name and upvote the combination Cthulhu All-Spark McLaughlin.
We can all agree that anybody who takes to the internet looking for votes on his baby's name is a) asking for it and b) probably not actually serious. That doesn't make the inevitable any less funny. Maybe it even makes it funnier.
Caveat: with the baby's birthdate set as April 2, 2014 I find myself wondering if he's not actually pre-pranking the pranksters.
