‘70s shoot ‘em ups can be played straight, but when you come from an era as colorful and strange as the Me Decade, why not have a little fun? That seems to be exactly what Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire looks to do. After a gun trade goes wrong, all sorts of trigger-happy hijinks break loose inside of an abandoned warehouse, and all parties involved try to make it out without any extra holes.
This new Mondo poster for the upcoming film takes both the color palette of the decade and the pandemonium of the film in stride. When it’s survival of the fittest, who isn’t willing to sacrifice a finger or two?
