Pixar's Coco has a pretty amazing plot (involving a young boy navigating the Land Of The Dead), an awesome cast (including Gael García Bernal and Benjamin Bratt) and what we suspect will end up being a killer soundtrack, but let's set all that aside for one second and focus solely on how jaw-droppingly beautiful this trailer is.
Gawk in amazement!
Look at the dust on that TV! The lighting! That dog! Literally everything onscreen! Is this the best-looking Pixar movie to date? I submit to you that it may be, and I can't wait to get it in my eyeballs.
Here's an official plot synopsis, via The Playlist:
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
Coco arrives on November 22nd. You guys feeling this one or what?
