A Ghost Story was one of the best-reviewed films out of Sundance this year. The first sentence our own Meredith Borders could muster was simply “Wow,” though she did go on to call it “beautiful,” “singular,” and many, many other wonderful things while confirming what some of us had suspected: this movie is going to be hard to explain in words, but that’s probably the best thing about it.
Lowery’s last film was Disney’s awe-inspiring Pete’s Dragon remake, so if that's anything to go by, A Ghost Story will be one to look out for on July 7th.
