EW Reunited The BUFFY Cast And Everyone Looks Smokin’ Hot

Seriously. How many of these actors are actually ageless immortals?

This year is Buffy the Vampire Slayer's 20th anniversary (in case you missed it, I did a deep dive on the pilot twenty years after it aired), and to celebrate that momentous occasion, EW organized a photoshoot reuniting the cast with creator Joss Whedon. In attendance:

Whedon
Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy)
Alyson Hannigan (Willow)
Nicholas Brendon (Xander)
James Marsters (Spike)
David Boreanaz (Angel)
Emma Caulfield (Anya)
Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn)
Kristine Sutherland (Joyce)
Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia)
Amber Benson (Tara)
Seth Green (Oz)
Alexis Denisof (Wesley)

Glaringly absent: Anthony Stewart Head, though he gets a portrait and an explanation:

With no portrait and no explanation, Eliza Dushku (Faith) is an even more glaring absence, but given her continued career on Whedon-created shows (Angel, Dollhouse), it's unlikely that strife was involved.

Okay! Gossip out of the way. Time for pictures. You can find plenty more and a behind-the-scenes video on EW, but you have to put up with their ad-riddled slideshow.

Those last four pictures are VERY IMPORTANT to me, for the following reasons:

1) The Buffy reunion is telling us that we don't have to choose between Tara and Oz, because they're both wonderful partners to Willow.

2) HOLY HELL, CORDELIA.

3) Anya + bunny = perfection.

4) I miss you so much, Giles.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is also taking over EW's Instagram feed today for some great behind-the-scenes shots. A few of my faves:

I don't have a lot of scintillating commentary here, except to say that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a true treasure, and I miss it terribly. It extra-sucks that in its 20th anniversary, the series is no longer going to be available on Netflix starting April 1, because a rewatch certainly feels in order.

Okay, now let's dish. Who looks the hottest, twenty years later? TRICK QUESTION, the answer is all of them.
