Tonight, at the MTV Movie Awards, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot showed up to...well, what else? To promote Wonder Woman. With a new trailer. What other conceivable reason would Gal Gadot (or, really, anyone, for that matter) have for attending the MTV Movie Awards? What would you even do if you won one? Display it? Like, in your home?
Anyway, look, we're getting off topic. The point is, Gal Gadot showed up at the MTV Movie Awards, brought a new Wonder Woman trailer with her, and now we're all going to watch it.
Yup, that's definitely another Wonder Woman trailer!
Here's the official plot synopsis, in case you're just now tuning in:
"Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny."
Having now seen all these trailers, TV spots, and posters - and now that we're just a few weeks away from the film's release - where do you stand on Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman? Hopeful? Still skeptical? Are you outright angry about it, because of the...y'know...the strong ladies? Plead your case in the comments below, intrepid internet traveler. The crowd needs your takes!
Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2nd.
