BRAWL IN CELL BLOCK 99 Arrives In Theaters This October

S. Craig Zahler's BONE TOMAHAWK follow-up will be along sooner than you might've expected.

Earlier this week, we learned that Bone Tomahawk director S. Craig Zahler is headed back to Fantastic Fest with Brawl In Cell Block 99, a pitch-black, ultraviolent prison-thriller starring Vince Vaughn, Don Johnson and Udo Kier. Given how much the BMD team loved Bone Tomahawk, this was very exciting news, indeed.

But what of the poor, unfortunate souls who won't be attending Fantastic Fest this year? When will they get a chance to see Brawl In Cell Block 99? Pretty soon, as it turns out!

Says Dark Horizons:

RLJE Films has scored all North American rights to Bone Tomahawk director S. Craig Zahler’s prison drama Brawl in Cell Block 99 with plans for a U.S. release on October 6th.

Hey, that's right around the corner! Not too shabby! We still haven't seen a trailer for Brawl In Cell Block 99, but lemme tell you: all signs point to this movie being totally bananas, in many of the same ways that Bone Tomahawk was totally bananas (hint: expect this one to be very, very violent).

We can't wait to get a look at Brawl In Cell Block 99 when it hits Fantastic Fest next month. Rest of you will need to wait for October 6th. Y'all excited for this one or what?
