The 2018 Cannes Film Festival Lineup Is Here!

Well, most of it anyway.

It’s that time of year again. The Cannes Film Festival is hitting next month, and today (early early this morning) they’ve finally announced their lineup. Truth be told, it seems surprisingly less Hollywood this year than normal, which is cool. Yes, Solo: A Star Wars Story is in there, but for real: this list looks legit when it comes to showcasing cinema for its own qualities rather than for any big names.

The list is also shorter than normal. That will likely change with new additions in the coming weeks - maybe even with Von Trier’s The House that Jack Built? - but for now, I find this lineup solid and interesting. Check it out:
