Laika’s Fifth Film Finally Gets A Title

Get ready for MISSING LINK.

It’s always big news to learn about a new Laika stop-motion animation project. Especially since we weren’t sure there even would be a new Laika movie after the performance of Kubo and the Two Strings (which is incredible, regardless of how many people saw it).

We learned last month that another movie was one the way, a comedy-adventure that would star Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana and Zach Galifianakis. Now we have a few more details. For starters, the film will be called Missing Link.

Missing Link focuses on a myths and monsters investigator who travels to the American Pacific Northwest to find the missing link. Upon discovering the lonely creature, the two embark on a trip around the world in search of its distant relatives. Sounds fun!

Other actors involved now include Stephen Fry, Emma Thompson and Timothy Olyphant.

We even have a photo:

Missing Link will hit theaters spring of next year.
