100th Post: How’s My Driving?

Six days in to the life of Badass Digest and we’ve hit the 100th post. Take a moment to think back with me to those faraway days of Thursday, when we first launched this beast. When Roger and Moises and I stood naked before you, hoping only for your acceptance.

So far we have it! I feel like the launch of Badass has been pretty much an unqualified success. Thanks so much to my many colleagues and peers who selflessly linked through to us, giving us amazing traffic for a site launch. Thanks especially to Harry Knowles at Ain’t It Cool, who drove a ton of eyeballs here by linking to my Green Lantern set visit piece.

Now I turn to you guys. We’ve been at it six days. This isn’t yet a fully formed website; the beer coverage is coming (very soon) and we have some food coverage on deck. I want to expand our scope so that it covers all sorts of things that you, the smart movie nerd, are interested in. I want to continue ignoring the movie site micronews game and only report to you guys the important - and more importantly solid - information. And I wouldn’t mind scoring another scoop or two like our Star Trek scoop.
