Two funny blokes, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, are starring in a six-part BBC comedy series directed by Michael Winterbottom called The Trip. In it, the two reunited English comedy stars go on an improvised tour of six restaurants in the north of England reviewing one per episode.
In this clip—which is a hilarious introduction to the show—an inebriated Coogan and Brydon try to outdo each other with their Sir Michael Caine impressions, both spanning decades and emotional ranges. Personally I liked Brydon’s, but Coogan’s is just as good. What do you guys think? Who reigns victorious in this epic Caine-off?
