Chris Beckman’s “oops” is America in 2010

While ONE DAY ON EARTH got a lot of well deserved buzz in its attempt to capture a single day on the entire planet, I don’t think anyone can beat Chris Beckman’s brilliant experimental film for capturing America in 2010, or really the whole decade.

With its simple execution and basic editing, it also definitely earns the top spot for “Fuck I wish I thought of that” for 2010.

The feeling you get as you start to realize what he’s doing is half of the joy of the video, so I wont really explain it much more than that. Put on some headphones, hit full screen, and enjoy this glorious bit of modern Americana.

Looking forward to seeing what kind of film could capture so much of the spirit of the next decade.
