First pictures of Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart and Sam Riley in Walter Salles’ adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s ON THE ROAD.
I wasn’t a big fan of Kerouac’s On The Road as a younger man, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to appreciate it. But I did fall in love with Cassady in his later adventures with the Merry Pranksters (as documented in The Electric Acid Kool-Aid Test), so it’s sort of a big bummer to see the role seemingly fumbled so badly. But I will try to maintain some optimism! We haven’t even seen a trailer - just these photos, which originally appeared at Comme Au Cinema.
