New Trail Of Dead Album Cover Is Awesome
The Austin rockers sport a great cover for their latest album (which sounds good so far, by the way).
Conrad Keely, lead singer of the band ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead wanted to be a comic book artist when he grew up, and sometimes that’s reflected in the cover art he produces for the band’s albums. That’s especially true with the busy but amazing cover for Tao of the Dead, the group’s latest offering.
Normally I’m not a fan of the steampunk stuff, but I like how Keely has done it here. I especially dig the bipedal fox. Apparently the disc comes with more art in the booklet.
I’ve heard a couple of songs off this new record, and it definitely sounds like a throwback to some of their earlier stuff, of which I’m a big fan. The record hits February 8th.
