Mondo Returns To STAR TREK With CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER

Mondo hasn’t forgotten that they have a license for Star Trek posters. It’s been a little while since the last one hit, but now they’ve announced a gorgeous poster for City on the Edge of Forever, one of the best episodes of the original series. Featuring the crew in silhouette against an alien sky and with the Guardian of Forever projecting the past onto the second half of the landscape style poster, the image is haunting and lovely. And if it wasn’t for the little Star Trek at the bottom corner non-fans might never even know it’s nerdy.

The poster, which debuted at StarTrek.com, is by Dan McCarthy, measures 12x24, costs 40 bucks and is limited to 325 copies.  The poster goes on sale tomorrow at an unspecified time. Follow @mondonews to find out when you can jostle for position and buy this thing.
