ATTACK THE BLOCK Gets A UK Quad Poster
The UK poster for Joe Cornish’s amazing ATTACK THE BLOCK, hitting British cinemas in May.
Something that’s interesting about this poster (and you can see it bigger by clicking here) is that the film has a 15 rating in the UK. That means kids 15 and up - very much the target audience - can see the film. When it’s released in the US Attack The Block will surely have an R rating, thanks to the language. There are lots of ‘fucks’ but none of them are sexual, and none of them are any harder than what every 15 year old American kid hears every day. If ever there was a film that showed why we need a new rating to bridge PG-13 and R, Attack The Block - a movie that will be The Goonies for a new generation (except good) - is that film.
