An English band turns to Sex Bob-Omb for inspiration.
Yesterday we brought you a new video from The Vines inspired by Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Now we have ANOTHER video, this time by the small-time Nottingham band The Swounds, which is SUPER influenced by Scott Pilgrim. IE, this is a strong homage.
I like this video better than The Vines one for a couple of reasons. One, it looks better. Two, it’s a better song. Three, I like these spunky kids.
What I like about the influence of Scott Pilgrim is how diverse it is - it’s impacting bands and games and comics, and I’m pretty sure we’re going to see many more movies influenced by it in the future as well.
