Shane Black NOT Writing IRON MAN 3
So if the director of the film ain’t writing it, who ain?
Well that’s a surprise. It turns out that Shane Black is not writing Iron Man 3, although fret not - he’s definitely still directing it. Instead Marvel has tapped Drew Pearce, who wrote a Runaways script for them, to pen the Armored Avenger’s third outing.
Pearce is probably best known for the British TV show No Heroics, about a group of superheros who drink at a local bar where costumes and powers are not allowed - smart way to save on the budget! I haven’t seen the show, but the trailer makes it seem like it’s knowing superhero comedy. I imagine that’s the general direction for Iron Man 3 as well.
