M Night Directing New Jaden Smith Movie. Really
You will probably not end up seeing this movie.
The film is set 1,000 years in the future and features an Earth where civilization has been destroyed by a Willow Smith/Rebecca Black team-up single. Will and Jaden wander the abandoned planet in what sounds like a futuristic follow-up to The Pursuit of Happyness.
The film is written by M Night along with generally good guy Gary Whitta. That said, Whitta’s generally good guy-ness does nothing to ease my mounting horror at having to see a press screening of this film.
A note for those who got mad at me for pre-judging The Hangover - will you remain fully open minded about an M Night film starring Jaden Smith?
