The Badass Broadcast: The Weird, Wild, NSFW Trailer For SORCERESS

Get into the sword & sorcery mood with the trailer for one of the strangest, rarest and most awesome 80s fantasy movies, starring twin Playboy models Lynette and Leigh Harris!

Your Highness brings old fashioned sword & sorcery filmmaking back into theaters this week, so we thought we would look back at some of the classic fantasy films that might have inspired Danny McBride and David Gordon Green.

This may be the closest you ever get to seeing Sorceress, the really bizarre 1982 sword & sorcery film from exploitation legend Jack Hill. The movie is stuck in a nightmare rights limbo, and the last time it hit home video was VHS. It’s too bad because Sorceress is just what you would hope for from the director of Foxy Brown, Coffy and Spider Baby (the Brian Stuart on the poster above is just a name Hill sometimes used).

There’s boobs, sword action, zombies and a really weird and cool looking flying lion/bat thing sending lightning bolts at a floating witch head. And if that score reminds you of James Horner, it’s because it is James Horner, ripped off from Battle Beyond the Stars.

From deep in the Alamo trailer archives, here’s Sorceress!
