Super Punch has a message from illustrator Russell Weeks. The artist is thinking about doing a series that features classic album covers reimagined with pop culture icons. I usually don’t like the thoughtless mash up world (fuck your Han and Chewie as Calvin and Hobbes. What does that even MEAN?) but Weeks has really pulled this together - David Bowie’s lightning bolt make-up on the Aladdin Sane cover is perfect for Potter. And there’s something about David Bowie that makes me pretty sure he’s no Muggle.
