A Quick Look At RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES’ Monkey Effects
Four quick seconds of CGI ape test footage.
Now we have a quick look at one of WETA’s apes - probably Caesar, the lead character, I’d guess - in a truly brief 4 second clip. There’s not much going on here, and it’s hard to judge the character if he’s not doing any real movement, but I think this looks pretty great.

By the way: how much do I love the new logo, which is a total reference to the logos of the original movies? It’s like Fox is marketing this film just to me. And I wonder if that’s a good idea…
