When Ad Placement Goes To The Next Level
Here’s the place from which the dead started walking…
That’s real! The ad for The Walking Dead, starting on the UK’s Channel 5 in a few days, was thoughtlessly placed on the side of a funeral home in Consett, County Durham. There’s a larger discussion here about the ubiquity of advertising and the way we rarely pay attention to it - even, in this case, the people who place it don’t pay attention to it - but I’d rather focus on the awesome way the ad complements the building full of corpses.
