Javier Bardem Is Officially Roland In THE DARK TOWER
And it’s official: we have our Roland. Now to cast that big turtle.
The New York Post is reporting that Javier Bardem has signed on the line which is dotted and sealed himself into the massive undertaking of The Dark Tower - three movies and two TV series.
Well, not completely. Apparently he’s only signed on for part of it, officially. “Bardem has signed on to the first movie and the miniseries, but the intention is that he will star in all three movies and each of the TV series,” a source tells the horrible rag, which has been ahead of the pack on this particular property.
I guess we could be in for some epic renegotiations in a couple of years, huh? At least it’ll give jerks like me something to write about.
