HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN iPad Game Gets New Levels, Improvements And A Price Drop!

Mondo did something pretty cool this year - they released their first video game. It tied into Jason Eisner’s wonderful Hobo With A Shotgun (opening this weekend!), and it’s a cool throwback to 80s sidescrollers. But Mondo didn’t just throw it out there and forget about it - they’ve been working on additions and improvements, and have dropped the price to a very reasonable 1.99. Plus they’ve release a Lite version so you can try it out for free!

Austin, TX—- May 6, 2011—- Mondo announced an updated version of their mobile game Hobo with
a Shotgun, available exclusively in the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The Hobo with
a Shotgun game was Mondo’s first project as a game publisher and represents an exciting synergy
between independent gaming and film. Some exciting new additions have been made to the original
game for this update including GameCenter integration, which allows you to post your high scores,
and a new never-ending “Chase” level. Hobo with a Shotgun is now offered at a new price of $1.99
from the App Store.

In addition to the upgraded Hobo with a Shotgun game, Mondo announced the release of a free
version of the game, Hobo Lite. The free version of the game will allow free play of the first level of
the Hobo with a Shotgun game. Hobo with a Shotgun 1.1 and Hobo Lite will be available on the App
Store soon. It requires iOS 3.0 or higher and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, 3rd and 4th
Generation iPod touch and all models of iPad. All users who have purchased the game will be eligible
for the free upgrade to version 1.1.

Version 1.2 of Hobo with a Shotgun will also be available soon, and will include major performance
improvements, more content, and more enemies.
