From the dustbins of 1979 comes a disco version of the ALIEN theme song.
It’s Friday and you’re ready to dance into your weekend. What better way than a discofied version of the theme to Alien, by a group who calls themselves Nostromo? Released as a 12 inch in 1979, this song seems to have quickly faded into obscurity, but the folks at DiscoMusic.com have this memory:
This was so much fun on the dancefloor at the time because you would get everybody doing John Hurt alien tummy eruptions!!
Sounds like a glorious time. The song includes all kinds of sounds and stuff from the film. Including Jones meowing.
