FRIGHT NIGHT Remake Trailer Gives Whole Film EXCEPT For Peter Vincent
Trailer for the remake keeps David Tennant’s character out of it altogether.
This new trailer for the remake of Fright Night is weird. On one hand, it gives away the entire movie. But on the other hand it completely hides the Peter Vincent character and Evil Ed turning into a vampire. I’m trying to figure out why one of the leads is being completely ignored; the only answer I can come up with is that the marketing people steadfastly refuse to sell this as a horror comedy, a genre that does not do well. So instead they sell it as a pretty generic looking movie, or as someone on Twitter remarked, like Disturbia with a vampire.
