TINTIN Trailer!
Does TINTIN ride the Polar Express to the uncanny valley?
Well, it looks great so far.
The Adventures of Tintin, the mocapped collaboration between Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg, has a teaser trailer; the quality of the CGI work is very high. The human movement is incredible. But the faces… I’m not completely sure why they went for realistic with the faces instead of trying to capture a cartoonishness. Watching the teaser I’m not even certain why they went mocap, honestly.
