First teaser poster for the Disney adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough’s classic features scifi font and a topless boy.
This John Carter poster feels like two designs colliding, like there was a poster with just JCM in weird scifi font and a poster with Taylor Kitsch showing us his sideboob but somebody in marketing felt neither was fully correct.
I can’t say I like it, but it feels easily ignorable. Here’s hoping the next poster looks a little better.
By the way - what’s with the JCM? That’s John Carter of Mars, and Disney officially cut the Mars part.
