What Is JK Rowling’s POTTERMORE?
The creator of HARRY POTTER launches a mysterious new website.
JK Rowling, creator of the Harry Potter franchise, has launched a new website - Pottermore. But what is it? Right now it’s simply a home page with the logo, Jo’s signature and a couple of owls.
There’s speculation that it could be the destination for further adventures in the Potter universe, but I suspect that it’s something Rowling talked about years ago - a Harry Potter encyclopedia or concordance. Whatever it is, it’s apparently a huge project, and it should be revealed to all of us Muggles soon.
Also revealed soon: the finale of the Potter film franchise. We’re weeks from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and there should be a final trailer hitting the web any day now.
