GAME OF THRONES Season Finale Thread
And the first season comes to an end. What did you think?
They nailed the last scene! That was what I was most worried about in the previous episodes, especially as the show kept fading the direwolves out of the story. Would they have the money and the ability to pull off that last shot? Turns out they did and they were, and Game of Thrones season 1 ended on a big up note.
Now comes the year long wait for season 2. I’ll be opening a spoiler-friendly thread for that later tonight, where we can speculate on casting and how they’ll handle certain things, like the Battle of the Blackwater. I’m also hoping to write something about why this adaptation works so very, very well.
