From 1996: Steve Jobs and John Lasseter on Charlie Rose

In 1996, Pixar CEO Steve Jobs and TOY STORY director John Lasseter went on the Charlie Rose show to talk about the creation of the world’s first computer-generated movie.

Now this video is an interesting blast from the past. Especially when you consider that this weekend marks Pixar’s 12th film opening at #1 and Apple is now the most valuable technology company in the world. Man, what I wouldn’t give to travel back 15 years and invest in both of them; or at least tell Jobs I have this idea for a thing called the “iPhone”.
