But the show was originally thought up by Jim Henson just before his untimely death and he left more of a mark on it than just filling it with puppets. The final product carried through many of his environmental concerns and touched on lots of other hot button issues (there’s an episode where the teenage dino-son gets caught masturbating, for real!). And in a show about a doomed species, there’s only thing that could happen in the bold and brutal final episode: All the characters die and the world ends. TGIF!
