No Dutch Angles In THOR 2
Kenneth Branagh won’t return when THOR returns in 2013.
Good news everybody, Kenneth Branagh won’t be back for Thor 2. Maybe Marvel can hire a director whose tripod has three legs all the same length!
That’s the real news out of the announcement that Thor 2 will hit on July 26, 2013. I feel like post-The Avengers this is a franchise ripe for reinvention, maybe this time with a good story or perhaps even decent special effects. Branagh leaves behind the two most important elements for any Thor movie - the strong casting of Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Chris Hemsworth as Thor - but I feel like almost everything else he did can be scrapped. Especially Jane Foster and all her friends.
If Marvel hires me to write the film, as there is no writer yet, I promise to make Thor a frog.
