Tinker, Teaser, Trailer, Soldier, Spy
The trailer for the latest adaptation of John LeCarre’s great spy novel looks excellent.
Jon LeCarre’s Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy is one of the great Cold War spy novels, and the new film version has pulled together many of the better British actors to try and do it some justice. And judging by the teaser trailer (and their haircuts) they’ve definitely done it some justice.
Gary Oldman plays LeCarre’s great spy George Smiley, originally played by Alec Guinness in the TV version of the book. The rest of the cast is impeccable: Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong and more. Very excited for this film, which is directed by Tomas Alfredson, who did the original Let The Right One In.
