Weird, Awesome Viral Campaign For RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

There’s a fine line between making your viral campaign accessible and recognizably a way of selling your movie and tipping your hand so that the whole thing feels phony. I thought this viral video from Fox for Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a little too obvious, but then I saw this YouTube comment:

here come the retards saying FAKE!

Well done, Fox!

Anyway, this is a funny little video, and there are more at the Rise of the Apes YouTube channel, including one purporting to be from a Japanese documentary about a chimp who plays first person shooter games.
