Last week I visited the Streaming Garage (which is literally a garage with a live web streaming studio built in it) and guested on Stupid For Movies, a popular web show dedicated to movies. Obviously.
I had a great time; the banter with regular host Mark Keizer was fun, and we interviewed Rodman Flender, director of the great documentary Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop. It turns out that Rodman worked for Roger Corman in his early days and is a bona fide awesome horror fan - he had Night of the Living Dead and Friday the 13th patches on his bag. He told me that he was in Harvard when Fangoria started publishing and that he was the first person to get the magazine delivered to Harvard Yard. Street cred!
Watch below. It’s two fucking hours long, just so you know. I nurse one beer that whole time, but I sweated it all out. It’s damn hot in that garage without AC.
BTW, I should be back on live this Friday doing a karaoke battle with Amy Nicholson from Box Office Magazine. I fully intend to destroy her.
