BATMAN: YEAR ONE Animated Trailer

Am I just a curmudgeon or would you guys also like to see better animation in these high class, smart, otherwise well-made DC animated movies? Maybe it’s because I’m not part of the group that loves herky jerky, largely static anime, but the animation on display here doesn’t do it for me.

Which is too bad! Because the art is great, and the music KICKS ASS. If this is from Christopher Drake’s actual score the Batman: Year One soundtrack will be a must own. And the story, as we already know, is terrific. I just wish the animation looked more… animated.
