Joan Allen And Albert Finney Tie BOURNE LEGACY To First Trilogy

Variety is reporting that Joan Allen and Albert Finney will be starring in the fourth Bourne film/Bourne spin-off, The Bourne Legacy, reprising their roles from previous films. Allen first appeared as CIA agent Pam Landy in The Bourne Supremacy, while Finney played Dr. Hirsch in The Bourne Ultimatum.

What’s interesting is that these characters found themselves in weird places at the end of the third film - Landy was testifying about the Blackbriar program that made trained assassins, and Kirsch, the doctor behind it all, was arrested. Will this film take place some time after the Congressional hearings shown at the end of the last film, or will this be a movie that takes place alongside a previous Bourne movie? Could this be a fabled SPIN-OFF SIDEQUEL?!?
