Prepare To Like Something From Lucas: Great RED TAILS Trailer

I am sure that Red Tails will be a by-the-numbers schlockfest, but fuck it. Some subjects deserve a less nuanced, more elevated approach, and the story of the Tuskegee Airmen - black pilots who risked their lives to defend white men who didn’t even want them fighting in WWII - is one of them. This has been a movie George Lucas has threatened to make for a long time, and now it’s finally coming, directed by Anthony Hemingway. It hits in January. I don’t know how the rest of the film will be, but the aerial combat stuff looks pretty incredible in this trailer.
