David Cronenberg Has Written A “Sort Of” Sequel To THE FLY

"'The Fly' is not exactly a remake, it's sort of a sequel, kinda," Cronenberg tells Shock Til You Drop. "I've written a script of that, and I don't know if that's going to really happen, but that has to do with Fox."

So there's a Cronenberg-penned sequel to The Fly that's sort of just sitting out there? I can understand if this never gets made - such is the ups and downs of Hollywood - but we need to be able to at least read this script and get an idea of what Cronenberg's concept for a follow-up was. I feel like it's time to begin a daring heist at the Fox lot...
