What A Child’s Drawing Would Look Like If Painted Realistically

Comics illustrator Dave DeVries has started using three-dimensional effects to transform children's drawings into realistic, and often horrific, paintings.

Marvel and DC comics illustrator Dave DeVries took his niece's drawings from his sketchbook and transformed them with the same method he uses for comics.

"I project a child’s drawing with an opaque projector, faithfully tracing each line. Applying a combination of logic and instinct, I then paint the image as realistically as I can."

The result is amazing. See more of the transformations at the link.
