Next year Daniel Day Lewis will probably earn an Oscar nomination for playing Honest Abe in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. And then there will be a Timur Bekmambetov adaptation of schlock book Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. We'll be covering one film with breathless excitement. The other will be approached with wary incredulity. Can you guess which is which?
In the meantime, here's the new poster from the vampire one. It's lenticular, so it switches from Abe Lincoln sitting in the Oval Office with an axe to Abe Lincoln sitting in a moonlit field with an axe. I'm sure it's a thrilling effect in real life.
