HBO has announced that Game of Thrones season two will debut on April 1st. We could make some sort of lame 'fool' gag here, but this news is too exciting to mock. The first season of the show was some of the best television the network has aired in years, and the story only expands and gets wilder in season two.
The network has announced other premieres; Lena Dunham's Girls with start April 15th, and Veep - the new show from the creators of In The Loop - will premiere April 22nd. That's some other excellent TV to look forward to.
By the way, this means that Mad Men and Game of Thrones will probably be up against each other. Hope you have a DVR with two tuners.
