THE AVENGERS Assemble On This Ember And Grit Filled Poster

Disney has released the one sheet for The Avengers, and it's a pretty standard image. Lots of grit and embers, lots of Photoshopped people. It's not bad but I'm not clearing wall space for it, if you know what I mean.

What's interesting is seeing the distribution of characters. Iron Man is way up front, with the Hulk mostly turned away in the back. Captain America looks to be levitating. Thor is up front while Black Widow stalks up behind him. Nick Fury sheepishly hides in the back. The whole group is moments from being squashed by a crashing alien ship hurtling towards them in the background.

What do you think of the poster? I think it fulfills basic marketing obligations.
