Trailer For VEEP, The New HBO Show From IN THE LOOP’s Armando Iannucci
The man behind IN THE LOOP and THE THICK OF IT comes to America with VEEP.
Veep is the HBO show I've been most eagerly anticipating after Game of Thrones. It's the new series from Armando Iannucci, who took behind the scenes political comedy to amazing new heights in the TV show The Thick of It and the movie In The Loop. As a nerd I wish Veep was in the same universe, but the fact that Anna Chlumpsky plays a different character here than in In The Loop makes that unlikely.
But whatever, because this trailer shows me that the tone and comedy will likely be the same. And that's more important than the continuity.
