SNL’s Jorma Taccone To Take On THE GREAT UNKNOWN

Taccone will direct a script by Michael Starrbury adapting the Image comic.

Jorma Taccone, the mastermind behind Saturday Night Live's digital shorts and the inarguably hilarious MacGruber movie has been tapped to helm the New Line comedy/action film The Great Unknown, from the Image comic written and drawn by Duncan Rouleau. It's about a layabout slacker who believe his ideas are all brilliant gems that the universe is stealing from him. He goes on a journey to prove this to his skeptical friends and family.

I haven't read the comic but it sounds like a great idea, and Taccone is certainly the man to tackle a rad action comedy. Count me in.
