Get Ready To Marathon Season 4 Of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

The whole season will be available at once.

Season four of Arrested Development will challenge all concepts of episodic storytelling, as the whole thing will premiere on Netflix at once. Thats' right, ten episodes will pop up on Netflix and you can sit down and power through about five hours of the show.

When the new season was announced it was to be a semi-anthology, picking up on each character in an episode designed to get you up to speed, and the possibly lead into a movie. Now it sounds like the movie may not be happening, and that creator Mitch Hurwitz is leaning towards seasons five and six instead.

As for throwing the whole series on Netflix at once, Hurwitz looks at it as a way to fuck with the format of sitcoms, just as the show has always done.

"There's going to be some mystery sprinkled throughout this [but] instead of watching one a week and try to get ahead of it, the hope is [fans] will watch them all together and then go back and look for clues and connections," Hurwitz explained. "We'd also like to use the technology to provide additional material, where you might be able to access another part of the story."

So how will you approach Arrested Development season four? All at once? Or will you parcel the ten episodes out?
